Installing the Bathroom Drain Assembly (Pop-Up Assembly)

(1) Remove locknut (F) , fiber washer (D) and the rubber washer (D) from the strainer plug (A) Place plumbers putty around the bottom of the flange of the strainer plug.

(2) Place strainer plug in drain opening of lavatory. Replace rubber washer (D), fiber washer (E) and locknut (F) on strainer plug (A).

(3) Thread remote control drain tee assembly (B) on strainer plug (A) with the pop up opening toward the back of the lavatory. Tighten the locknut (F) on strainer plug (A).

(4) Remove ball lever knob (L) from pop up assembly (B). Place ball lever knob (L) over ball lever rod (J) from the rear. Insert ball lever rod (J) into opening of the pop up assembly and tighten ball lever knob (L) (nut).

(5) Be sure to replace cover on plumbers putty can and you are done!
