


Installing Bathroom Lavatory Faucets
Tools Needed: (click on figure 3 for view)
- Slotted & Phillips head screwdriver
- Adjustable Wrench
- Pipe Wrench
- Plumbers Putty
- Pipe compound or Teflon® tape for pipe threads
When installing a new lavatory it's easier to install the faucet and drain before installation. If you are replacing an old faucet, then
figure 3 will be helpful in removing the old faucet. In either case refer to the specific manufacturers installation instructions packed in with the faucet you just purchased.
1) Place gasket (A) on top of lavatory and place plumbers putty around gasket. Set faucet in place.
(2) Install pop-up lift rod (G) through hole in rear of faucet
(3) Install mounting washers (B) then thread hex nuts (C) (some can be plastic or metal) onto the faucet shanks and, after positioning the faucet, tighten mounting nuts firmly.
(4) Save the supply nuts (M) for attaching the supply line.
